How to Make Hot Wings in Air Fryer
If you’re a fan of hot wings and looking for a healthier alternative to the traditional deep-fried versions, then making hot wings in an air fryer is the perfect solution. Air fryers use hot air circulation to cook food, creating that crispy exterior with little to no oil.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 cup of hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
2. Toss the chicken wings in baking powder, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
3. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
4. Cook the wings in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and fully cooked.
5. In a saucepan, combine hot sauce and butter, heating until the butter is melted and the sauce is well mixed.
6. Toss the cooked wings in the hot sauce mixture until they are fully coated.
Serving:
Serve the hot wings with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for a classic hot wing experience.
