How to Get Gasoline in Ark: Expert Tips
Ark: Survival Evolved is a popular survival game where players must scavenge for resources to survive. One important resource in the game is gasoline, which is used to power various machines and vehicles. In this guide, we will delve into the methods and tips on how to acquire gasoline in Ark.
1. Harvesting Oil
The primary way to obtain gasoline in Ark is by harvesting oil. Oil nodes can be found in various locations across the map, such as the ocean floor, underwater caves, or on the surface. Using a pickaxe on oil nodes will yield oil, which is a precursor to crafting gasoline.
2. Extracting Gasoline
Once you have collected a sufficient amount of oil, the next step is to convert it into gasoline. To do this, you will need to create a refining forge or industrial forge and place the oil inside along with a source of fuel, such as wood or thatch. The forge will then process the oil into gasoline over time.
3. Taming Creatures
Another method of obtaining gasoline is by taming certain creatures that can produce it naturally. For example, the Phoenix, Nodopatosaurus, and Lymantria are creatures that can passively generate gasoline in their inventory over time. By taming and keeping these creatures, you can collect gasoline without the need for constant oil harvesting.
4. Raiding Supply Drops and Loot Crates
In Ark, you can also find gasoline in supply drops and loot crates scattered throughout the map. These crates contain various resources, including gasoline, which can be a quick way to obtain the fuel without extensive harvesting.
5. Trading with Other Players
If you are unable to acquire gasoline through conventional means, consider trading with other players. In Ark, player-to-player trading is common, and you may be able to exchange resources or items for gasoline with fellow survivors.
By following these expert tips and methods, you can efficiently acquire gasoline in Ark to power your base, vehicles, and other machinery. With a steady supply of gasoline, you will have a crucial resource for thriving in the harsh environments of Ark: Survival Evolved.
